MAD AS HELL - CURRENTLY FUNDRAISING

Mad as Hell

Mad as Hell will be a feature-length documentary putting a spotlight on women's anger and the price women pay for speaking out.

In 2016 and in 2024 a Woman has been in touching distance of becoming President of the United States, yet against this backdrop of seeming progress we have watched as many hard won rights of Women are being reversed or challenged not just in the USA but around the world.

Women’s anger is universal, it is something that can not be attributed to one demographic, however how we respond to it is often determined by race, class or country. Our film will seek to look at how the power of Women’s anger has been harnessed to create change.

Through interviews and archive montages we will delve into years of suppression dating from the Witch Trials to the Anita Hill testimony; from the 2020 Presidential Campaign to Roe v Wade being overturned; from the intersectionality of Feminism to the rise of incel culture. We will examine how effectively the media and the political realm has been weaponised to quash Women’s anger, and we will demonstrate just how revolutionary harnessing and using your anger can be.

We are currently raising funds to be in the USA on November 5th to observe the election results and kick off production of the film - we have a fiscal sponsorship page, if you are able, please get angry with us and make a donation.
